It’s time to break out of your comfort zone! If you are a “know-it-all”, you are in the wrong place! Remember, if you’re in your comfort zone day in and day out, you are simply not moving. Growth takes place in the gap. You have to challenge yourself, your ideas, where you are, and where you want to go. It does not matter if you challenge your team or if you challenge others…you must challenge yourself. Ultimately, it is your business and your challenge!
For example, I used to be embarrassed to speak in public. My knees would shake, my voice quiver, and my palms were sweaty. I even forgot words….like I was in a “brain fog.” I worried that people would make fun of me or might not even understand what I had to say. But I accepted that challenge by standing there and talking. I made sure I pushed myself every single day to exist outside of my comfort zone.
Every entrepreneur has something that they would like to improve about themselves. The key is to accept it, or else choose to be trained or coached, and push yourself to do it until it gets easier. It may never be comfortable, but it will get easier. One of my favorite sayings is: “The better you get, the more you do. And, the more you do, the better you get.” So, get out there and do more of what you are truly are meant to do!
“If you’re green, you’re growing. If not, you are rotting on the vine.”
